The first public wooded bathing establishment on the coast in Crikvenica was constructed in 1888. Guests liked it, and returned over and over again, which was the beginning of tourism in the town. All that was needed was better organisation. And that’s exactly what we’ve provided!
Our beaches today are very special; the sea leaves nothing to be desired, and nearby there are walking trails and promenades with fragrant Mediterranean plants. It is therefore no wonder that we are described as the riviera with the most beautiful beaches.

The main town beach in Crikvenica is fully adapted to people with disabilities. It features a ramp for easy entrance into the sea and sanitary facilities with the Euroblock locking system.

Pet owners will be pleased too!
In July 2010, Crikvenica got its first dog beach, located next to the small harbour of Podvorska at the tip of the breakwater. Entrance to the beach is free of charge. An information board explains the rules of conduct that dog owners are required to observe.
